Why we exist
Our mission is to build systems where people can complete tasks without unnecessary barriers. We put this principle into practice through decisions about content, interaction and development.
Understandable use
A failed form needs more than “something went wrong”. It should explain which information needs correcting and preserve what the person entered.
Independent access
A task should not depend on using a mouse. Keyboard order, visible focus and screen reader information should support completing the same task.
Sustainable development
Adding a feature also means checking existing user journeys. Accessibility review belongs in updates as well as the initial release.
